Sentiero Valtellina

Starting to work is great for some aspects, but surely not for holidays, I have no days to spend after only one week in my new office, so we decided to go near home, we took the train in Milano Centrale to Tirano and then started our trip along the river Adda, on the amazing Sentiero Valtellina.
The cycle path is totally for bikes and walkers, in the wood and also with a strong headwind all day long until the town of Colico, on the top of Lake of Como. Here we found a small apartment where we prepared the great dinner as always: rice with bresaola and bitto, a speciality of Valtellina.
The second day we pedalled along the Lake of Como until the city of Lecco, from here the trip continued firstly along the river Adda and then along the Naviglio Martesana, the canal that originates from Adda and reaches Milano. The cycle path passes in my town, an ice cream under the Torre Aitelli of Inzago and then I went home while Alberto, Sofia and Paolo went on for another 15 km.
Only two days, but two amazing days!!!
