In the summer of 2009 after high school graduation, the two of us set off a journey across Canada to film a documentary on social justice and environmental issues. Our goal was to capture the voices of marginalized peoples and minority groups, explore the issues of environmental degradation and Aboriginal displacement, and at the same time, capture the amazing work of change-makers across the nation, connect with youth, and bring it all back home.
