Traveling back to Europe is never easy for me. My difficult feelings in the Old World were in stark contrast with the stunning beauty of Bled in Slovenia. The deep blue of Lake Bled is marvelous and swimming in it to cool of after a long conference day was even better. In the distance Slovenia's highest peak the Triglav (9396 ft) was looking surprisingly wild. The song Far From the Tree is from Bob Moses.
